Iron Ore Trading

Specification first.
Movement matters.

We approach iron ore opportunities by starting with the buyer's actual requirement—grade, chemistry, quantity, location, delivery terms and intended use—before discussing a commercial commitment.

Trading Scope

Commercial coordination across the transaction chain.

Our role can vary by opportunity. WGM Exim aims to create value by connecting requirement, compliant source, quality verification, commercial structure and physical movement.

01

Requirement Mapping

Understanding Fe grade expectations, key chemistry parameters, size/fines requirements, quantity, destination, timeline and delivery basis before sourcing discussions.

02

Source Coordination

Evaluating supply opportunities based on commercial fit and documentation available from the source or authorised channel. Transactions remain subject to applicable laws and statutory requirements.

03

Quality & Inspection

Coordinating sampling, testing or third-party inspection where commercially required so buyer and seller can transact against agreed specifications.

04

Logistics & Dispatch

Working with the relevant transport, stockyard, rail, port or destination-side stakeholders depending on the transaction structure and agreed responsibility.

05

Domestic / Export Evaluation

Assessing opportunities based on source economics, grade, policy, logistics and buyer terms. Export transactions are pursued only where commercially and legally viable.

Important: WGM Exim does not claim ownership of mines, fixed production capacity, historical export volumes or long-standing contracts unless such facts are specifically documented. Supply, grades, quantities and delivery terms are confirmed transaction by transaction.
